St Paul's Shadwell church (302, The Highway E1W 3DH) is our camp base in Shadwell/Wapping. A beautiful Georgian Style church built in 1820 and described in guide books as “an oasis in East London”. We meet each morning in the church's garden and it's also the pick up point in the afternoon. There's a parking space available for drop-offs and pick-ups

For our Art sessions we use the huge space of the crypt (some parts date back to the original church that was built in 1690!) where we have kitchen facilities, toilets and a toy room.

Right outside, we always spend a lot of time in the lovely open garden with a purpose-built playpark, with plenty of space to run around!

WHO LEADS THE WORKSHOP?

Our awesome team; Jose, Leo, Susana, Paloma, Laura, Marta, Raquel or Irene will lead the sessions, depending on the date or venue you will meet one or the other. All of our staff are DBS checked with experience in teaching Art and childcare. There's always, at least, one teacher fully trained in paediatric first aid in our camps. Our groups are small, between 12 and 15 children, ensuring all children get the attention and guidance they require. We want to provide high quality activities and personalise the experience so the children can get the most out of it and really learn about Art.

DO I HAVE TO COMPLETE A REGISTRATION FORM?

Before making any payment you'll need to complete an online booking form to select the dates your kids will attend the camp and indicating any allergies, special medication…etc. In the form you will get a quote of the payment you'll have to make via BACS to complete the booking.

WHAT CAN/CAN´T BRING TO THE CAMP?

If your children use essential medication please bring it with you ensuring that it has been clearly labelled. Please ensure that at least one member of the staff knows that your child brings medication and directions of use. Children should bring their own lunch and snacks. We provide fruit and snacks (usually vegetarian and nut free). Children are free to bring books or toys to play with or show to their friends. Electronic toys (including phones and tablets) are prohibited during camp hours as we try to engage kids with creative alternatives to screen time.

WHERE CAN I CONTACT THE ORGANISER WITH ANY QUESTION?

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

We can offer refunds if you cancel at least two weeks prior the event, we have a cancellation fee of £10. Refunds take 5 to 10 days to appear on your statement.

Yes we operate throughout all school holidays. Keep an eye on our facebook page or website for updates. You can also suscribe to our monthly newsletter if you want.

WHAT PARENTS SAY ABOUT OUR COURSES?

We have received overwhelmingly positive feedback about Lemon ArtLab from parents and children some of which can be found on our reviews page. We welcome constructive feedback and try to develop all our work in line with what parents, carers and children want. If you have any suggestions please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
